Microneedling at Carmen & Santos Med Spa uses the advanced Dp4 microneedling system to stimulate collagen, smooth fine lines, improve texture, and rejuvenate the skin. The Dp4 device creates precise microchannels that trigger the body’s natural healing process, increasing collagen and elastin for younger, healthier-looking skin.
Microneedling is ideal for treating fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, enlarged pores, sun damage, pigmentation, and overall skin aging. Compared to older rollers, the Dp4 system delivers greater precision, consistent depth control, and enhanced comfort.
Before treatment begins, we apply a medical-grade topical numbing cream for 15–20 minutes to ensure you remain comfortable. After the microneedling session, we apply a cooling and hydrating mask to calm the skin, reduce redness, and accelerate recovery. We finish with a broad-spectrum sunscreen before you leave.
Your treatment begins with cleansing and a professional numbing cream. The Dp4 device glides across the skin to create controlled microchannels. Most clients feel mild vibration or pressure, not pain. After treatment, we apply a soothing cooling mask followed by SPF.
Expect mild redness or warmth for 12–48 hours. Slight dryness or tightness is normal as the skin begins to renew.
Use only gentle cleanser and moisturizer. Keep skin hydrated.
Microneedling results build gradually. Skin continues to improve over 6–12 months as new collagen forms. For optimal results, we recommend 3–6 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart.
